Photos from the first ING NYC Marathon in two years (the last one was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy). Security was tight at this year's marathon due to the Boston Marathon bombings in April 2013. The Marathon was a success and has had only one related death (an 86-year old female competitor who injured her head while running) this year.
