Description: The NHTSA is pressing Tesla to provide data and information about changes made to Autopilot following a December recall that affected around 2 million vehicles in the US. The recall was intended to improve Tesla's driver monitoring systems to help ensure drivers remain engaged when using Autopilot. Tesla faces nearly $135 million in fines if it does not provide sufficient information by July 1st. Since the recall, at least 20 Tesla vehicles have been involved in crashes where Autopilot was suspected to be engaged.
