Several war veterans and activists were arrested at the New York Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza tonight as a part of the worldwide #WaveOfAction. The plaza used to be open 24/7 for veterans to come honor the fallen soldiers who's names are listed on a wall there, but the city changed the rules so that the plaza closes at 10pm. Veterans believe they should be able to honor fallen soldiers at any time of the day, so tonight they stayed after closing time until the police came in and arrested them
