Spring Equinox · Spring 22nnTo celebrate the arrival of spring we have created a short film, inspired by a Japanese folk tale about a kind old man who made the trees blossom.nnThe old man, so the story goes, loved his little dog Shiro very much. When Shiro (meaning white in Japanese) died he was overcome by grief, and scattered the ashes amongst the plum & cherry trees near to his home. Despite it being the depths of winter, the trees at once burst into white blossom.nn
